Spinoza Prize 2021: prof. Lieven Vandersypen (TU Delft/QuTech)

3 Sept 2021 – Six researchers awarded the highest distinction in Dutch Science, and receive 2.5 million euros.

NWO has announced that Professor Lieven Vandersypen (TU Delft/QuTech) has been awarded the Spinoza Prize, the highest distinction in Dutch Science. The other 2021 laureates of the Spinoza Prize are professor Marc Koper, professor José van Dijck, and professor Maria Yazdanbakhsh. Professor Bart Jacobs and professor Judi Mesman receive the Stevin Prize. Each laureate will receive 2.5 million euros, which they can spend on scientific research and activities related to knowledge utilisation.
