The DPC has framed a pamphlet where it illustrates the importance of Dutch physics. It is in fact the foundation for the future: it is a key discipline in addressing fundamental and applied research topics and meeting societal challenges while training a highly-skilled workforce.
The Council has a number of annexes on more in-depth topics related to Dutch physics, such as: Scientific Challenges for the (near) future.
Note, there are two versions of this annex with the same equal message, though with different examples to scientific challenges.
Other Annexes in preparation are: Economic value, Attracting talent to the Netherlands, Infrastructure, Connection with education.
The DPC has compiled a list of female faculty members in physics in the Netherlands (from tenure track career phase onwards). This list serves to sollicit invitations for colloquia speakers, provide suggestions for workshops and conferences and help e.g. NWO to find someone for a committee. Once or twice a year the list will be updated.
The PAN Taskforce Diversity (continued by the DPC) has collected best practices for how to improve diversity and inclusiveness from all eleven physics research departments/institutes at universities and the four physics-based NWO national institutes in the Netherlands.
The PUN has compiled a set of 10 golden rules for successful and consistent Tenure Track policy and practice in the Netherlands. It currently serves as an accepted policy to be followed in especially the STEM disciplines in the Netherlands.
